(<em>as per Procurement Plan</em>): MH-PFM PMO-448834-CS-INDV</p>\n\n<p>The Republic of the Marshall Islands Ministry of Finance, Banking and Postal has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Project to Strengthen budget execution and financial reporting systems and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services.</p>\n\n<p>The FMIS Officer will operate under the guidance of the GASB &amp; FMIS Reporting Specialist within the Ministry of Finance (MoF) in the Republic of the Marshall Islands, focusing on enhancing the functionality and security of the Financial Management Information System (FMIS) network. Key responsibilities include mapping the Wide Area Network (WAN) and Local Area Network (LAN) in MoF offices, diagnosing connectivity issues, and proposing improvements for reliable application access. The officer will assess network vulnerabilities and provide remediation strategies while collaborating with IT staff and the Project Implementation Unit to ensure smooth operations. The role entails generating comprehensive reports on network performance, facilitating ongoing support for FMIS functionality, and establishing an IT helpdesk. The position is full-time for six months, based in Majuro, with potential for extension based on performance and funding availability.</p>\n\n<p><strong>Key deliverables include:</strong></p>\n\n<ol>\n\t<li>A comprehensive map of the MoF WAN and LAN or WLAN in Majuro and Ebeye offices.</li>\n\t<li>An evaluation report on network performance with recommendations for enhancing consistency, efficiency, and security.</li>\n\t<li>Ongoing support for FMIS functionality across MoF and other spending agencies.</li>\n\t<li>Strengthened network security in MoF premises through collaboration with IT staff and FMIS vendors.</li>\n\t<li>Knowledge exchange sessions and training for local IT staff on relevant topics.</li>\n\t<li>Establishment of an IT FMIS Helpdesk, including standard operating procedures (SOPs).</li>\n</ol>\n\n<p>The detailed Terms of Reference (TOR) for the assignment can be obtained at the address given below<em>.</em></p>\n\n<p>MIDB room 405 or E-mail: rachaelbaack@gmail.com</p>\n\n<p>Majuro</p>\n\n<p>Marshall Islands</p>\n\n<p>The Ministry of Finance now invites eligible individuals (&ldquo;Consultants&rdquo;) to indicate their interest in providing the Services.
